I'm a stay-at-home mama to a four-month-old baby girl, Aurora. I'm trying to blog. My life is boring and yet I write about it anyway. :D

I'm a night owl, DH... I think he's a morning person. I go to bed long after him. He gets mad if I wake him up.
our daughter is shaping up to be a night owl, I think. :/
In my experience, just buying my own cloth diapers is cheaper than disposables, which is cheaper than a diaper service. I did the math on this, which is how I convinced my husband to switch.
Keep in mind that breastfed poops are completely water-soluble, and after you start solid food you can get a diaper sprayer to attach to your toilet. You spray the poop off into the toilet, flush it away, then wash like normal.
Also, my daughter just seems happier in cloth. I said to her, "I'd prefer my undies to newspaper too, sweetheart!"
Well, CynthiaO, I'm 24 but barely look 20... I went from my wedding band to my one-size-bigger engagement ring at about 5 mo to nothing at about 8 mo... and I DID get some dirty looks when they'd see my left hand. I didn't wear my ring around my neck, since I'm very clumsy even when I'm NOT preggers. I was terrified I'd catch the chain and lose the ring! Now that Aurora is 4 months I only take it off to bathe her since the tub is getting cramped and chances of scratching her with my high-set diamond are high.
My daughter just went nuts over that last video of Marlo. In fact, I played it multiple times because smiling and giggling is better than screaming.
"Hey, baby. If you were a booger, I'd pick you first."
I drink 2 cups, typically. One in the morning when I get up and one in the early afternoon after lunch. It works out well for me.
eastland, I had a shotgun wedding (lol, 14 weeks pregnant and you can see my baby bump in my wedding pictures) and let me tell you, I wish I could've had more time with my husband with just us. If we go out to dinner and bring her, one of us eats cold food because our daughter screams in her carseat so we have to hold her the whole time. I haven't seen a movie in more than four months. I don't get to shower every day, unless my husband holds her in the evening so I can. I don't get a full night's sleep.
I wanted kids so badly, too, but I wish I'd waited just a little longer. I know this probably won't change your mind, and my previous solution for the biological clock (I got a cat with an ex) obviously didn't work for you, as you have a dog. :(
I have LESS diaper rash with my daughter with gDiapers than I have with other disposables. I love the system, but I'm looking for something a bit more convenient than having to buy the gRefills. My husband is on board with cloth diapers ONLY if I go though a diaper service.
By the way, I hear infant-sized prefolds (not preemie or premium) fit tri-folded into the medium and large gPants. This is the route I will likely take (along with other, super-cute covers) if I go with a diaper service.
The thing is with all-in-ones, pinkbrain, is many take more than one dryer cycle to dry, and if you line-dry they take all day. I'm trying to talk my husband into cloth diapering and the only way he seems willing is if I go through a diaper service. I personally use gDiapers and I love them, but I want something more convenient than "OMG DOWN TO THREE DIAPERS, EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY, DON'T FORGET TO GET THEM ON YOUR WAY HOME OMG OMG"
I'd cut your losses. It kind of seems like he wants your companionship (and in your pants) but with no strings attached so he can look for greener pastures.
