Mine was the Barbie Townhouse with the yellow elevator that really worked...that and a Green Machine.

Every year, my family 'adopts' airmen from a local air force base. They come in twos and we get them in the morning, stuff them and treat them like royalty all day and them drop them back off at basic training later that night. It's something that has been very rewarding and this year, my oldest son wants to keep the address of the airmen (only if they are boys...he's 9 and doesn't understand that girls can be good soldiers too...silly boy) and write him as a pen pal.

I'm looking forward to seeing who we get this year. Sometimes it's two ladies and sometimes two guys, but either way - it's fun to hear where they are from and to get to hear them call their families, some of whom they haven't talked to in weeks.

We've talked a lot over the past week or so and have come to the conclusion that there is one thing that is standing in our way of healing everything...everything else is workable. We just see things almost completely from opposite angles so its frustrating.

I'm not sure what's going to happen - only time will tell.

I'm just playing the waiting game right now - the ball is in his court.
